Carols at the Fairfield Tavern

A huge thank you to The Fairfield Tavern for inviting BTS along to sing carols - we had a wonderful evening as you can see in the photos below!

We took the opportunity to take an offering for Spurgeons Childcare, which raised an impressive £52.00. A massive thank you to everyone who donated.

Lastly, a huge thank you to the musicians and singers who took time out of a busy week to play and sing.

A great time had by all!

Fairfield Tavern

Tomorrow evening we’ll be going to the Fairfield Tavern to sing carols at 20.00.

It would be great if you could join us. Not just an opportunity to perform, but a chance to get the whole pub singing familiar carols about the greatest gift of all.

Christmas starts with Christ.

It's Christmas!

The children have broken up from school, we’ve seen some snow and you can longer watch Neighbours whilst having your lunch - this can only mean one thing, it’s Christmas!

Christmas starts with Christ.

If you want to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas this year then, I’m sure, you will be looking at attending a local church. Well tomorrow at BTS we’ll be celebrating with our
Nativity Service at 10.30 at Oaklands and a Carols by Candlelight Service in the evening at 18.30 at Balaclava Road.

You are sure to receive a warm welcome, an enjoyable service, concluding with plenty of mince pies and refreshments.

Messy Christmas

Messy Church Christmas is less than 48 hours away!

Messy Church is for families with babies through to primary school aged children and happens every half-term. This week we’ll be having our Christmas themed Messy Church. Loads of crafts, games, stories, songs and pizzas for the whole family - all completely free of charge. No need to book, just turn up on the day.

Doors open at 15.15 and we’ll take the first 60 children. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout Messy Church. We’ll be finished by 17.30.

Getting ready to welcome Christ

Join us this Sunday morning at Oaklands between 10.30-11.15 for an all-age Advent service. We’ll be thinking about getting ready to welcome Jesus.

For every person who comes you’ll get an envelope with 1 sweet, 1 pipe-cleaner, sticky back paper and a pencil. If you want to know how we will use these things (and more) to worship together whilst preparing to welcome Jesus then you’ll have to come along!

Don’t forget, Christmas starts with Christ. I hope to see you Sunday.
