Christmas 2009

We are just a few days away from the beginning of Advent and we are getting ready to celebrate the birth of God’s Son Jesus. We’ll be using material available as part of a nationwide campaign with the slogan, ‘Christmas starts with Christ’.

The website has been updated to provide details of our Christmas services and events - just follow the
Christmas 2009 link at the top.

A new feature we have added this year is the ability to download our
Christmas posters and invites, so you can print them out at home if you would like to. Why not print out invites and put them in the Christmas cards you give to your neighbours, friends and family? Or why not put a poster up in your front window, place of work, school, local shop or anywhere you are allowed that people will see it.

Follow the
Christmas 2009 link at the top to go to individual pages about each event. Even if you haven’t been to our church before then we would love to welcome you to one of our services. We warmly invite you to come along and put Christ back into your Christmas.

If you would like more information about one of our events or services then do not hesitate to
contact me through the website.

Church Meeting

A quick reminder for church members that tonight we 'll be meeting for our November Church Meeting; the last of 2009.

The meeting will have some really important issues to discuss and vote upon. We have the election of deacons, an application for membership, amalgamation update and an opportunity to discuss the two sets of building plans we have seen and what steps we want to take next.

Church
membership is a great opportunity to get more involved with the life, ministry and decisions of the local church. So if you've been coming along to our church for a while and want to find out more about membership then read our membership page or speak to Adam.
