Shoebox Sunday
30/10/09 12:20 Filed in: Sunday Services
On Sunday it is Shoebox Sunday. We'll be gathering the shoeboxes together we've been filling with Christmas goodies over the last 4-6 weeks. The schoeboxes will then be distributed to Smile International, who will give them out to children around the world at Christmas.
On Sunday morning we'll be exploring Mark 14:32-42, a piece of Scripture given the title 'Gethsemane' in Today's New Internation Version. This will continue our series in prayer. With it being the first Sunday of the month the service will be all-age, including action prayers, songs and much more!
We'll meet at 10.30-11.15 for the all-age service at our Oaklands site on Langley Road in Surbiton. Refreshments are served after the service. You are more than welcome to join you and we look forward to meeting you.

Podcast Test
23/10/09 18:06 Filed in: Sunday Sermon | Podcast
Today I have spent some time playing with our sound board at church and with some new equipment, to see whether we can start podcasting.
So far this has been a success, clear sound of me speaking through the microphone is on my computer.
I now need to know that it works on your computer!
Please click the link below to listen to the test. Can you let me know that it has worked for you and what time of operating system and browser you are using. Either drop me a comment below, tweet @surbitonbaptist or comment on our facebook page.
Thank you!

But one morning I was interrupted by some geese flying overhead. Read More...
